lennaLenna immigrated to the United States in 1986, from Toronto Ontario. She left her native country, the former Soviet Union in 1979. She has her first Master’s Degree from the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. She has practiced as a Clinical Social Worker for over ten years since completing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 1996 at Michigan State University. She previously worked at Ingham Regional Medical Center in their Older Adult programs.

She continues her work with Older Adults, providing assessment and counseling services with Beacon Counseling Services, LLC. She has worked for the past five years with Child and Family Services providing assessment and counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and older adults. She works with children above age 7, adolescents and families, young and older adults. She works with the following issues: depression, anxiety, older adults coping with life transitions/changes, grief, children coping with special needs (adoption, foster care), marital problems, family problems, anger management with adults and children.
