Carrie received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Social Work from Michigan State University in 1997 and her Masters of Social Work degree from Wayne State University in 1998. She began her clinical practice working at the Children’s Center in Detroit. She was subsequently the Child and Family Therapist for Central MI Community Mental Health and started seeing clients in a private practice setting in 2003. Carrie has also taught Sociology classes at the collegiate level. Carrie has experience working with children, adolescents, families and adults on a wide variety of issues, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, behavioral disorders, grief, ADHD and trauma. A lifelong believer in the innate health of all people, Carrie utilizes a strengths-based approach with care and compassion.
